It is only logical to use this to get through students as it is currently the main stream of networking among students. Announcements regarding examinations timetable, results and etc also can be posted. All in all it is just a very simple, fast, efficient way to share information.

As a DMC student, it is in the nature of our course to organize events. Facebook will definitely help us in advertising our events. Compared to other tools of advertising, Facebook is much easier as it can be done at home. There is no cost involved in advertising Via Facebook. Facebook is definitely fast because we can get immediate response from the other users of Facebook. For an instance, like when we post anything on facebook, less than 2 minute the whole friends list would be able to read it, and by this everybody would get informed about any upcoming events, updates and etc.

Hackers and identity theft are on the rise, as a result, facebook has rigid security measures. Facebook is accessible to chosen universities which have a high level of security.
