Most of you have probably know who Martha Stewart is through her syndicated popular television talk show MARTHA STEWART. Born in August 3,1941 Jersey City, New Jersey. Born from a middle class Polish American parents. Popular for her television show, author, magazine publisher and co founder of Martha Stewart Omnimedia. She has gained success in variety of business, publishing , merchandising and broadcasting.

She is the publisher of Martha Stewart Living and has written numerous best selling books. In 2001, she was name the 3rd most powerful women Entrepreneur of America by Ladies Home Journal. In 2001, Stewart was convicted of lying to investigators about a stock sale severed 5 months in prison. She began a comeback campaign in 2005 with her company to regain profitability in 2006.

Having a family with a strong background passion for activities at home, Stewart's mother taught her how to cook and sew. Her father had a passion for gardening and later on passed his knowledge to his talented daughter Martha Stewart. She was a part time model and was hired and appeared in several commercials and magazines. Quick witted straight A's student, she then was awarded a scholarship in Saint Barnard's college, New York.

Stewart began to develop her business skills after graduating with a double major in History and Architectural History. In 1967, she became a stock broker and became very successful, but left her profession in 1973 to spend time with her daughter.

Following her success, she has publishing many books including Martha Quick book (1983), Martha Stewart Pies & Tarts (1985) and many more. During this time she has made countless appearance on popular talk shows such as The Opera Winfrey Show and Larry King Live. Not to mention she has authored thousands of newspaper columns , homemaking and magazine articles.

Martha Stewart was declared as '' The definite American Women of our time''.
